First-gen founder from Eagle Pass, Texas. I run EBCD — where one AI-native operator does the work of a 12-person company — and write about what actually works.

I grew up in Eagle Pass — a border town in South Texas. First-generation founder. My wife was recruited from a competing solar company. We have a daughter, Emilia, who's 16 months old. We're based in Dallas/DFW now after a stretch running the business remotely from Colombia.
EBCD started as a single water-treatment dealer relationship. Today it's 13 active client accounts across water treatment, solar, turf, and HVAC — run by a team of three. Average client tenure is 1.5 to 2 years, which is roughly 3× the industry norm. The vertical was where I cut my teeth; the system is what transfers.
The unlock wasn't a clever positioning move or a viral ad. It was going AI-native on the entire stack — Imagen for ad images, HeyGen for UGC, Veo for b-roll, Claude for copy and analysis, a CRM for follow-up — so that three operators could ship the volume a 12-person company used to need. The output of a team, run by a person.
That's the work I do now, and it isn't tied to one industry. I don't sell "more leads." I install the system that produces them — and the system that closes them. Most owners think they need more traffic. Almost always, they need better follow-up, a tighter ICP, and an operation that doesn't depend on hiring to grow.
The goal is to make AI-native operations the default for any business that sells to real people — so a $2M contractor, a $5M e-commerce brand, or a city government can run marketing and operations as well as a venture-backed startup, without hiring a 12-person team to do it. The team I've built (Julián on automations, Javier on ops) proves it's possible. The blog is where I show the work.
